already tested it.

Biggest issue is an extrem heating up. This results in blue led freezes somewhen.
Rom is quite fast.

It is surely a good alpha. but an alpha ;)

Using it at the moment. It is quite fast and is not heating up that much compared to the previous alpha. But still quite warm, way more than AEX 4.6.
Using it now for the upcoming days to do further tests.

Last version work nice, no overheating, but:
-camera focus very slow'
- no u touch/buttons customization, on 7.1.2 work very good.
I think battery life is same as 7.1.2 version.
Very close to perfection, thank You.

phone still heats up here during setup, especially if it is charged at the same time.

Extensions are missing but I don't ask for that in an alpha version, the extensions will be added soon when official template of AEX is reveiled.

Can't say something to battery, I will test upcoming days now and then can say something.
If it stays getting more warm batrery will not be too good. But lets see

can say now that overheating problem is solved.
The actual alpha is quite stable, I use it since 5 days now without crashes.

Of course this is still an alpha version. So dont ask for Utouch configuration or extensions.

Beside it is good running I found these bugs so far:

- camera app (no matter which one you choose) is starting slowly. Also taking pictures takes a hughe delay.
- If you activate OK google detection audio record is blocked for all other apps. This means you cannot record anything, also captured videos have no sound then, only phone calls working
- some apps are not 100% compatible to Android 8 and will crash sometimes. All my apps are working but sometimes facebook is crashing (solved with last fb update) and amazon writes there are some libraries missing, however amazon app is working without problems

I rooted it with supersu 2.82 without problems. Gapps are also working without issues

Next update arrived, 1023 came out today.

Link in first post here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z2-pro/development/rom-aospextended-rom-v5-0-t3683238

Works quite good.

OpenGapps are working fine here.

Camera blobs seems to be changed again back to former version.
In alpha 1012 video record of 1080p60fps worked good including audio sync but the whole cam reacted veeery slow.
Now in 1023 reaction of cam is good again but 1080p60fps record is not working anymore.

After playing around a bit I found that MotoCam v4 mod camera app can record 1080p with 60frames without problems. Audio sync is perfect.
So it seems only an issue with the Snapdragon Camera App.
1023 alpha is good so far :)

Good news for all fans of 1080p60 recording ;)
