Hi,
is it normal that the front camera has a kind of depth of field? The photos are blurry and the background in not sharp.
thanks,
Marcus

I use Mokee MK81.0
I shoot with the google camera app and open camera with camera2 api.
The JPG says: Software - z2_row-user 8.1.0 OPM2.171019.029 3.5.259_180209 release-keys

It looks like the focus is at 50cm in front of the lens and has a very narrow depth of field.
Find a example here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/v3y2wk35q8a0b9k/AABmUKhEu9QhmFi0hKjqARw6a?dl=0

Its there a way to calibrate the lens? I am looking for infinity focus and not depth of field.

thanks

I think it is in the nature of this selfie camera not to be good to make fotos for objects far away. I tested shortly and I think the lens is static here.

So using the front lens is a bit limited to use for objects more narrow.
Here everything looks sharp within up to 4 meters without issues.

IMHO that pictures looks normal :

- Focus is on the closest subject.
- Because the object is so close the rest is a bit blurry in the background!

I expected a result that was a lot worse after reading your post! :D
