Hi mates,

as there was some confusion about AOSPextended (AEX) test rom and some AEX from Chinese source we are very happy that @davidevinavil made AEX to official version for our beloved Z2 Pro.

AEX is the best running CustomRom so far. I tested AICP and RR 5.8.3 before but this is running most smooth.

Download it here:
http://www.aospextended.com/z2_row/ (scroll down the whole page to see download)

Official support thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3635849

All is working so far.
OTA functionality is working.
QuickCharge is working!
Just charged from 13% to 100% in one hour!

Multicolour notification Led working.

European developer.

This is actually THE must have rom for all who dont like stock rom anymore :)

Thanks @davidevinavil for providing this rom and running the official support version :)

Everyone possible should test this rom. Pmease support the dev as well, he will be happy about this ;)

AEX is better than RR. More smooth.
It has OTA functionality in addition.
Cam is same like in RR I think.

aex have better support but i think RR has better bttery life... what do you think?
I tried now for three days and would say AEX is at same battery usage level compared to RR.
But AEX is unbeatable with charging as quick charge is working like a turbo.
I measured from 13% to 100% in 57 minutes. Thats an absolute top argument for me to use AEX.

Hi folks,
does this ROM support U-health or is there any chance to get it running?
Can i flash it over a clean 2.5.4.35? Reset in TWRP or quite clean over ZUI 1.9 and OTA´s and then AEX with TWRP?

UHealth is not working in any rom as Uhealth needs a functional ZUI framework sadly.

If you have 2.5.435 just boot into TWRP 3.1.0.0, delete system, data, cache and dalvik.
Then install AEX.

You will have a clean and perfect AEX system then including working OTA functionality (of course AEX OTA)

I did it this way, installed all again through google restore. It took about 2 hours for me to set up everything again.

Good luck mate, it is worth it!

Quick Charge is not shorten the possible charging amount. Just google a bit for technical explanation regarding lithium battery :)
Phone is not even get hot or warm during charging. So dont worry :)

Thanks for fast reply^^ ....and two additional questions:
1: Is there an app which supports the U-health funktionality (Sensors etc)?
2: I got data for 5 months now in U-Health. Is there a possibility to transfer/export them to another app?

Sadly I need to answer: Sorry no possibility at the moment.

There is no alternative app that can use heartbeat sensor.
As UHealth is a typical chinese app for chinese market they did not put in ways to synchronize with other american or europe apps as well as the phone was made for domestic market only.

I solved it by using fitness band, I use MS Band 2 since long now. I used together with at least 5 phones now :D

I suggest using an external device in any time so you dont get addicted to one phone you need to use.
