Hello:
What I got for you is the newest zui 2.1.049 prerooted with english as default language.
First of all, thanks to captainemo for repacking and publishing, here can you download: https://yadi.sk/d/iS8ocejPussYv
It's a flashable zip, so all you got to do is install twrp somehow(there are many tutorials online) and flash the zip. I recommend you to wipe all your data and cache with twrp before, so backup everything. After that reboot and chill some time, the first boot can take 5 mins(don't worry, the second won't ). Now you got a beautiful rooted zui, if you want to use google play store just install the framework and play store with the Chinese store.

Ich möchte heute mit euch die neuste Version zui 2.1.049 für das ZUK Z1 teilen. Es ist prerooted, flashable mit trwp und englisch ist als sprache eingestellt.

Ihr könnt die zip einfach mit twrp flashen, am besten vorher advanced wipe. Erster start kann locker 5 min dauern, also chill. Wenn ihr Google play wollt, könnt ihr das easy über den chinesischen store installieren, vorher nur Google framework nicht vergessen

I've installed this ROM yesterday on my Zuk Z1, no bugs found yet, still it takes a while to enable data connection and it missed an alarm, I'm still figuring out if the latter is because of the media volume being turned off at the time the alarm was supposed to ring

Thank you, I've done some research and as it turns out, if your phone volume is out the alarm won't ring. Apart from that, it works like a charm

Why don't you use the 2.3 update here : http://zukfans.eu/community/threads/twrp-z1-zui-2-3-045-st.1439/ ? Its working better that 2.1. If you really need 2.1, I can upload it for you in a few hours.

Why don't you use the 2.3 update here : http://zukfans.eu/community/threads/twrp-z1-zui-2-3-045-st.1439/ ? Its working better that 2.1. If you really need 2.1, I can upload it for you in a few hours.
